Facilities We Provide
There is a common hostel for arts, science, commerce and law students which is managed by S. B. Garda College Trust. Boys and girls are accommodated in separated wings at the hostel.

Besides the above mentioned fee for hostel, a sum of Rs. 1000/- as deposit is to be paid while taking admission in the hostel for the first time. This amount of Rs. 1000/- will be refundable, on production of original deposit receipt.
Note: Admission to the hostel will be provided, only if there are sufficient number of applicants.
The College library holds more than 18,000 books. Students can borrow these books from the central library or from the departmental libraries. Besides books, periodicals, magazines, journals, and news papers are available to all students during working hours of the library. Also, the library provides facility of giving books on loan, to the students during the middle of the second term, to help them prepare for their annual examinations. Internet facility is provided to all students during the college working hours.
Language Laboratory : (Scope)
A modern English language laboratory has been established for the benefit of all students. Enrollment for short term English course is done as per the state government directives.
In addition to ladies common room, the college provides rest room for girls which is located near Chemistry laboratory.
Students Aid Fund, Scholarship, Free ship and Prizes
SC / ST and Bakshi panch students are eligible to get scholarship as per the rules of the government. There is a provision for aid and prizes from other charitable trusts. The poor and deserving students also get financial help and books from the student’s aid fund. The college has also arranged for students safety insurance scheme in collaboration with the New India Assurance Company Ltd.
Exemption for Female candidates from payment of tuition fee
All female candidates are exempted from paying tuition fee at all levels as per the Gujarat Government’s resolution. The principal has to sign and endorse at the back of the original certificates and school leaving certificate of the female candidate, while giving admission in the concerned class. The mark-sheet will not be given back for a minimum period of one month under any circumstances. If a female student leaves the college halfway through the term as to get admitted elsewhere, then such students will have to deposit the exempted tuition fees as per the circular dated 08-10-1985 issued by the office of Joint Director of Higher Education.
Note: The college has (i) Grievance cell for Women Staff Members and Girl Students, (ii) SC / ST Staff and Students Grievance Committee, (iii) Placement & Counseling cell.
